General Terms and Conditions (AGB)
1. Services
Thom Van Der Meer Coaching und Training provides personal training, coaching, and related fitness services for individual and (small) group settings. All services are subject to availability and scheduling confirmation.
2. Scheduling and Cancellation Policy
- 6-hour notice is required for cancellation of any session
- Late cancellations or no-shows will be charged at the full session rate
- Exceptions for emergencies are at the discretion of Thom Van Der Meer
3. Payment Terms
- All sessions and packages must be paid for in advance
- Package sessions must be used within 6 months of purchase
- Refunds are available only for unused sessions within 6 months of purchase
4. Health and Safety
- Clients are always advised to consult a medical physician if any health risks are suspected.
- Clients are responsible for working within their capabilities
- Thom Van Der Meer reserves the right to terminate sessions if safety is compromised
5. Personal Conduct
- Respectful behavior is required at all times
- Proper hygiene and appropriate workout attire are mandatory
- Training locations and equipment must be treated with care
6. Liability
While every effort is made to ensure safety, clients participate in training at their own risk. Thom Van Der Meer Coaching und Training is not liable for any injury or damage that occurs during or as a result of training sessions.
7. Privacy
Client information is kept confidential and used only for training purposes. Personal data is handled in accordance with privacy laws.
8. Modifications
These terms and conditions may be modified at any time. Clients will be notified of any changes.
*Note. Additional information on charity model
Up until 6h before a session you are able to cancel the class as long as you reschedule within the next seven days. This is my attempt for people to continue to prioritize their training in the same week, maintain training consistency, and give precedence to their training goals. As at the end of the day, it is of course my goal for you to get to move as well and as well-as often as possible. If a session has to be cancelled within 6h of the start, I have the following deal with my clients (unless there is a reasonable exception): 60% of the session costs go to me, and 40% goes to a saving account dedicated to an annual charity contribution. The following charities I am partnering with at the moment already: Himalayan Trust, the Brothers Trust, OceanCare, Sara Adusa Foundation, United24 (Ukranian Humanitarian Support Fund), the Tibet Fund, and the Isha Foundation. I am always happy to hear about additional or novel suggestions if you have any.
